The story behind the cocktail

Basil Smash is a modern classic. Somewhere in the early 2000s, the cocktail spread, like wildfire, in every self-respecting bar in the world, and was also served at the Dizengoff Spicehouse bar for about 10 years and was one of the best cocktails. I solved the difficulty of providing fresh basil flavors by developing an extraction of basil, in cooperation with Cohen Farm - an old family farm and the largest basil growers in Israel. The project started from their desire not to throw away leftovers of the fresh and fragrant basil that cannot be sold. The cocktail is fresh and refreshing and its construction with the basil of the Cohen farm demonstrates the influence of local agriculture on the world of cocktails. It will be a favorite of sour cocktail lovers and perfect for hot weather.
